Proven to deliver brand-led growth in the hospitality industry, Dranding Consulting co-founded by Floyd Tavares & Katya Cordeiro in 2018 has successfully built some of the country’s most iconic hospitality brands. For his efforts in spearheading several outstanding campaigns and creative initiatives for some of the leading international hospitality brands, Floyd Tavares, Co-Founder of Dranding Consulting was presented with yet another prestigious award – the coveted Iconic Hospitality Marketer by Times Hospitality Icons 2020.

A pivotal player in powering some of the best-known hospitality brands in Goa, Floyd Tavares has been instrumental in driving change in this sector with his inspirational work. Floyd has an MBA in marketing with over 10+ years of experience in building brands. Recently, he was also voted ‘Most Influential Young Leader’ by the World Marketing Congress.

Before conceptualizing Dranding Consulting, Floyd was responsible for making the ‘Deltin’ brand synonymous with Gaming (Casinos) and Luxury hospitality in the country. He managed the marketing efforts nationally for Deltin Group of Casinos & Hotels – India’s largest chain of casinos and hotels. He was also responsible for launching Goa Tourism’s social media back in 2013.

Big Daddy
Boat Cruises Goa
Successfully built the country’s most engaged and sought-after casino brand – Big Daddy in under a year of its existence.
Along with TTAG, Goa's leading Tourism body, Dranding Consulting developed the ‘Reinvent Goa Whitepaper’ that was presented to the Government of Goa. The research paper identified the challenges faced in the hospitality sector and provided solutions to overcome the same which was referenced by the Government during decision-making for future projects.
Dranding Consulting revived Goa Tourism's Boat Cruise industry by creating a new brand ‘Boat Cruises de Goa’. The new brand identity coupled with an enhanced experience and innovative strategies led to an increase in its revenue for the first time in 3 years; growing by 10% in 6 months.
Rebranded Goa’s foremost beach-front property, the Bambolim Beach Resort and also headed the renovation of the resort to give it a fresh and youthful feel. Bambolim Beach Resort increased their online revenue by 110% in 3 months prior to relaunching its revived brand (launch efforts were paused due to the covid-19 pandemic).
Strategized and helped grow Radisson Blu Resort's business in the local MICE space.
